A foothold in dance

This year's "Fall Footholds" production showcases the work of Christine Berwin, an M.F.A. candidate in dance. The program starts off with a piece featuring a futuristic blend of modern dance, drama, technology and acrobatics then continues with vivid works that incorporate Indonesian dance, hula and bharatanatyam.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and Nov. 7-8 and 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Earle Ernst Lab Theatre. Tickets are $10 general, $8 non-UHM students, seniors, military and UH faculty/staff, and $3 UHM students. 956-7655.
