Rites Nov. 7 for William B. Demacose

Funeral services for William B. Demacose, a homeless man who was befriended by Ho-nolulu International Airport security guards, will be held Friday, Nov. 7.

Demacose, 81, was found dead Oct. 8 at the airport shortly after two private security guards helped him buy a ticket to California to see his last surviving sibling.

Demacose, a retired taxi driver born in Honolulu, is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Demacose Guerrero, and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at O'ahu Cemetery Chapel. The family requests no flowers. Arrangements by Ultimate Cremation Services of Hawai'i.
