HVCB closes Osaka office

The Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau has closed its Osaka office as part of plans to reduce costs and also as a move preceding the end of its Japan marketing contract with the Hawai'i Tourism Authority.

Two people worked in the office. The tourism authority awarded its new Japan contract to Dentsu Inc. effective Jan. 1, 2004.
