Detective Robert Cravalho said the men stole a 640-pound American Security safe that is 39 inches high and 24 inches wide from the home. They had to use hand trucks to get the safe out of the house.

The safe contained expensive jewelry, unique collectibles and cash valued in the six-figure range, the Cravalho said.

Cravalho said one of the men entered the home at about 10 p.m. through a window after removing louvers before opening a door to let in the other men. The robbers surprised a 20-year-old woman and 11-year-old boy who were watching television and tied them up with duct tape.

The faces of all four men were covered with T-shirts but the names "Peter," "Junior" and "Bruddah" were heard. One of the men was carrying a handgun.

One of the men punched the boy, police said.

The men were in the home from 10 p.m. Saturday to about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

The homeowner is in the adult entertainment business.
