Golf notices

Ongoing — Yo-Golf Series, every Sunday from 4:30-6 p.m., conducted by Kiyoko Sieradzki, LPGA teaching professional, at Aloha Academy of Golf at Ko'olau. Classes combine yoga and golf and are designed to condition, sharpen mental focus, relax and enhance enjoyment. Using yoga poses and techniques, golfers can increase flexibility, balance and strength. Open to women and men. Cost is $15 per session or $48 for a series. Today — Hawai'i Flooring Association Annual Golf Tournament. At Kapolei Golf Course. Check in 11:30 a.m. Fee: $95. Information: 537-1224.

Tomorrow — Deadline for the 30th Waikoloa Open, Sept. 25-28, at the Waikoloa Resort on the Big Island. The 54-hole tournament, which will have five flights, will be played at the Village, Kings' and Beach courses. Entry fee is $250. For more information, call (808) 883-9621.

Saturday — Cadillac Invitational Golf Tournament. At Wailea's Gold Course. Format: Four-player teams, scramble. 12:30 p.m. start. Fee: $200 per person, $750 per team. Information: (808) 986-1900.

Sept. 19 — Golf "Fore" Literacy Tournament, benefit for the Hawaiian Library Foundation. At the Ko Olina Golf Club. Format: Three-person modified scramble. Registration 9 a.m. and shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Information: 837-8069.

Sept. 24 — Deadline to enter Waikoloa Women's Golf Challenge, on Oct. 17-19. At Waikoloa Beach Resort. Fee: $650 (includes two-day tournament, spa treatment, gift package, Saturday evening function and golf clinic), guests who accompany a tournament participant, $199 (two rounds of golf, evening events). Oct. 15 — Deadline for the inaugural State Senior Championships, Nov. 8-9, at the Leilehua Golf Course. Golfers 55 and older by Nov. 7 with a USGA GHIN handicap index of no higher than 25 for men and 31 for women are eligible for the 36-hole stroke-play event. Entry fee is $125.
