City offering shuttle service to hospitals

Advertiser Staff

Starting today, new city shuttles will take passengers to St. Francis Medical Center, the Queen's Medical Center, Straub Clinic & Hospital, Kuakini Medical Center and the Kaiser clinic on Pensacola Street.

Passengers can be either patients or those wanting to visit patients, said city spokeswoman Carol Costa. They first have to make their way to Chinatown Gateway Plaza, the center of the city's shuttle service.

Also, Mayor Jeremy Harris urged downtown passengers departing from the Hotel Street boarding area to arrive early today.

Limited express bus service will leave no later than 5:30 p.m. because of the Aloha Week's Ho'olaulea Kick Off, which begins at 6:30 p.m.
