Sept. 12-13 Free hunter education classes. The Hawai'i Department of Land & Natural Resources will be offering classes on hunter safety and outdoor survival skills at the Wai'anae Public Library. The class is open to anyone 10 and older. The class will run from 5:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. on Sept. 12 and from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 13. Information: 587-0200.

Ongoing Free jogging clinic. The Department of Parks and Recreation will be sponsoring two clinics, staffed by experienced runners, on Sundays. The Marathon Training Jogging Clinic will meet at 7:30 a.m. at Paki Hale in Kapi'olani Park. The Central O'ahu Jogging Clinic will meet in odd months at Wahiawa District Park at 6:30 a.m. and at Mililani Mauka Elementary School at 6 a.m. on even months.
