Mililani defeats Pearl City, 35-20

Mililani used a potent rushing attack that amassed 265 yards to defeat Pearl City, 35-20, and gain sole possession of first place in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West Division last night.

Mililani is 3-0, Pearl City is 2-1.

The Trojans had 460 yards in total offense, including 195 in passing.

The Chargers stayed with the Trojans and trailed 21-20 in the third quarter before Mililani scored 14 unanswered points.

"We knew we were in for a game from the beginning," Mililani coach James Millwood said.

Waimea running back Jordon Dizon, last year's KIF Offensive Player of the Year, left the game in the first quarter after injuring his left ankle.
