Hilary Duff sure knows how to turn sweet 16.

She dines at Tidepools at the Hyatt Regency Kaua'i Resort and Spa. And parties around a bonfire on the beach. She takes an ATV ride at Kaua'i's North Shore, goes snorkeling, and has a kayak expedition adventure off the Na Pali coast.
Actress Hillary Duff celebrated her 16th birthday at the Hyatt Regency Kaua'i Resort and Spa. "Hillary Duff's Island Birthday Bash" airs Sept. 24 at 8:30 p.m. on Channel 5.
You can share in the fun, by tuning in to "Hilary Duff's Island Birthday Bash," airing at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 on the WB network (KFVE Channel 5 in Hawai'i). The hour-long show repeats at 7 p.m. Sept. 28.
Duff, best known for her "Lizzie McGuire" Disney Channel series and subsequent feature film, celebrated her 16th birthday with a four-day Kaua'i shoot over the Labor Day weekend. The party also turns out to be a scenic postcard for viewers, who get to see the wondrous cliffs of Na Pali and the amenities of the Kaua'i resort.
Her favorite band makes a surprise appearance, along with older sister Haylie.
The special will feature tunes from Duff's new "Metamorphosis" CD, showcased in an outdoor concert and is the first of two TV events on the WB — the other is a holiday musical special, air date to be announced.
