Tonight's Must-See

"Intimate Portrait," 4 p.m., Lifetime. For its 300th episode, this show has some political star power. The subject is first lady Laura Bush; the interviews include two presidents (one past, one present), two first ladies and lots of friends and relatives.

Of Note

"The Sharon Osbourne Show" debut, 3 p.m., KHNL. Leaping into belated fame, Osbourne has drawn instant fans. She's bright, upbeat and likable. She's survived all the odd twists of being Ozzy's wife. In short, she could be the ideal talk-show host. We'll see, now that her non-network hourlong show begins a five-day-a-week syndication.

"7th Heaven" season opener, 7 p.m., WB. Last year's season finale offered a couple of surprises: Lucy, the young newlywed, might be pregnant. Eric, the dad, received devastating news from a police officer. Now we learn the details. WB will only say that someone is pregnant and someone has died.

"Everwood" season opener, 8 p.m., WB. As last season ended, Dr. Brown was trying a second dangerous brain-surgery procedure on teenager Colin Hart. Tonight, we learn how it went.

"Third Watch," 8 p.m., NBC. Here are the two hours that wrapped up last season. Cruz (Tia Texada) continues her obsession with finding the drug kingpin who killed her sister. Following a tip from a seedy writer (Tom Berenger), she ignores safety and ethical concerns.

"CSI: Miami," 8:45 p.m., CBS. Here's a rerun of an expanded episode with three prisoners escaping by helicopter.
