Microsoft going mobile

The Microsoft Corporation announced yesterday that it will put a version of its Windows operating system in mobile phones in North America. The Motorola MPx200 phone, displayed here, will be available to the public before the end of the year. Microsoft collaborated with AT&T Wireless and Motorola on the MPx200, which has software capable of e-mail, instant messaging, Web browsing and entertainment media playback.
