Tonight's Must-See

 •  Tonight on News 8

Get the latest news at 5, 6 and 10.

• At 6 and 10 p.m.:ÊWai'anae pays tribute to entertainer Israel "Bruddah Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole with dedication of a bronze statue.
Miss America pageant, 7 p.m., ABC. Tom Bergeron has taken over as host. Bright and quick, Bergeron — who hosts "Hollywood Squares" and "America's Funniest Home Videos" — is the ideal emcee for a live event. This year, he'll be helped by two of TV's best-known runners-up. One is Clay Aiken, who finished second in this year's "American Idol" contest. He'll be the musical talent. The other is Trista Rehn, who finished second in the first "The Bachelor" — then was the focal point of "The Bachelorette." She and her fiancé, Ryan Sutter, will host a viewing party; the broadcast will sometimes cut to them.

Of Note

"Come Home Alive," 6, 10 p.m., History Channel. Stu Havenstrite, an American geologist, was working alone in rural Mexico when he was kidnapped and held for ransom. This fascinating documentary recreates his dangerous escape and his trek through the wilderness while eluding the kidnappers.

"Picture Perfect" (1997), 8 p.m., ABC Family. Obsessed with the office hunk (Kevin Bacon), a woman (Jennifer Aniston) manufactures a make-believe relationship with a guy she doesn't know (Jay Mohr). You know where the story is going from here, but it's still reasonably fun to watch.

"Law & Order," 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. In the first rerun, cops are struggling to find clues to the murder of an actress. They have to fight in court to get some tourists' video footage. In the second, they're perplexed when a suspect claims he knew about the murder because of a psychic vision.

"Hack," 8 p.m., CBS. In a rerun of the season finale, Mike is torn about his former police partner, Marcellus, who insists he was framed for murder.

"The District," 9 p.m., CBS. In a rerun of the season finale, Mannion decides about his future.

"Saturday Night Live," 10:30 p.m., NBC. Scheduled is a rerun with Christopher Walken as host. The music is by the Foo Fighters.
