Weekly Thought

We do well to be careful when someone asks for criticism. Chances are he is looking not for criticism, but for compliments. If you feel compelled to make a negative remark, be sure to start with a compliment. "This is fine, but what would you think of doing it this way?" If we dislike something, instead of saying so, we do well to admire the features we do like.

Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
