ALICE PUALEIALOHA AKAU, 75, of Kawaihae, Hawai'i, died Sept. 3, 2003. Born in Kawaihae. A detention-home supervisor retired from the state Judiciary Department. Survived by brothers, William, Edward and Solomon; sisters, Annie Akau, Mary Brabson, Elizabeth Wilkins and Wilma Nance. ART FREEDMAN, 70, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Hawai'i, died Sept. 14, 2003. Creator of the musical production, "Santa Claus Lives in Hawai'i"; proprietor of a tourism company and a book publishing company, and a composer who produced children's recordings. THE REV. ALICE KEALOHA HUI, 82, of Kailua, O'ahu, and Pahala, Hawai'i, died Sept. 14, 2003. Born in Hono-lulu. Pastor of His Highest Praise Church, Pahala.
