Advertiser Staff and News Services

General Mills has teamed up with makers of the mega-popular Yu-Gi-Oh! TV show and card games to create a limited-edition Yu-Gi-Oh! cereal. On the box: trivia questions that lead to code words to access monster information on the Web site yugioh.com.

Other General Mills cereals, cereal bars and Go-Gurt kids yogurt offer special packaging or mail-in offers for a Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD and collectible medallions.

And if you're into NASCAR, the General-Mills-sponsored Petty Enterprises No. 43 Dodge will sport a Yu-Gi-Oh! paint scheme at the Winston Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday.

Add your splash

Amateur artists are going to have to come up with one hull of a design to get their work on this large local canvas. Norwegian Cruise Lines America is inviting amateur artists to put the finishing touch of a hull design on Pride of Aloha, its newest interisland cruise ship.

The design should have at least one iconic Hawai'i theme. The winner receives $10,000 cash and a cruise for two on Pride of Aloha's inaugural voyage. For entry information, e-mail Trevor Young of Star Cruises at tyoung@starcruises.com.

The haunting tune played during a montage of Bill Cosby footage before the comedian took to the stage to receive the 2003 Bob Hope Humanitarian Award Sunday night.
