Freak-accident victim identifiedThe Honolulu Medical Examiner identified the victim of a freak car crash Tuesday as Nora Okada Hubbard, 75, of Kane'ohe.
Hubbard was at the wheel of a 1994 Subaru that crashed into a retaining wall in the parking lot of Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center, police said. She had stopped at the parking lot ticket booth but dropped her ticket. As she picked it up, the car shot across the lot, police said.
The medical examiner ruled that the cause of death was blunt trauma and that her death was an accident.
