HILDA NAKAMURA CHONG, 87, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Sept. 21, 2003. Born in Hilo. A poultry farmer for the Chong Poultry Farm, and owner of Ainako Cash & Carry. Survived by sons, Donald, Robert and Wayne; daughters, Faye Ann Moore and Maryjane Amaral; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. GEORGE E. EISE, 83, of Kihe'i, Maui, died Sept. 21, 2003. Born in Missouri. A bartender for the hotel industry. ROBERT KEONI JOHNSON, 49, of Windward O'ahu, died Sept. 19, 2003. A 1972 Kailua High School graduate and journeyman plumber who often offered his services for free; avid Kailua Beach fisherman, having last year caught a record eight-pound Samoan crab. Survived by wife, Wanda "Girlie"; sons, Keoni and Ka'iana; daughter, Ke'ano Cedeno; five grandchildren; parents, Lehua and J.C.; brother, Wayne Keanini; sisters, Keano Nakamaejo, Ka'uanoe Johnson and Beverly Katz. Visitation 8 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 349 Kailua Road; canoes to leave Lanikai boat ramp at 9:30 a.m. for scattering of ashes in Kailua Bay.

NANCY KULUMANO KAHAWAI, 54, of Wai'anae, died Sept. 12, 2003. Born in Nanakuli. A substitute teacher with the Department of Education. RAECHEL DELORES RANKIN PARKER, 86, of Bakersfield, Calif., died Sept. 20, 2003. Born in Bakersfield. A broker for Earl Thacker Real Estate, and former president of the Honolulu Symphony Society.
