• Oct. 15 — Deadline for the inaugural State Senior Championships, Nov. 8 to 9, at the Leilehua Golf Course. Golfers 55 and older by Nov. 7 with a USGA GHIN handicap index of no higher than 25 for men and 31 for women are eligible for the 36-hole stroke-play event. Entry fee is $125. For more information, call Phil Kim at 623-1244 or the Hawai'i State Golf Association at 589-2909.
