Survived by husband, Angel; son, Ernest; daughter, Donna Shlachter; brothers, Laurito "Rayto" Pablo, Estrelio "Eliong" Pablo and Frederico "Johnny" Mariano; sisters, Plesista "Ple" Primacio, Josephine "Carmen" Aspacio and Rosemarie Glisch; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. JOHN F. BARRETTO JR., 69, of Kapa'a, Kaua'i, died Sept. 20, 2003. Born in Kealia, Hawai'i. Former Kaua'i councilman, one-time candidate for Kaua'i mayor, proprietor of auto towing company, wrecking yard at Ahukini, Ahukini Marine Service and charter fishing company. Survived by wife, Kathleen; sons, Michael and Daniel; daughters, Kristine Garcia and Penny Barretto; mother, Ida; sisters, Dolores Barreira, Bernice Ornellas, Frances Carreira, Ramona Mock and Theresa Wery; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. LEONORA T. BROAD, 87, of Fairmont, N.C., formerly of Honolulu, died Sept. 22, 2003. Born in Hilo, Hawai'i. Survived by daughter, Ida Broad Simmons; stepson, Vernon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private service in Honolulu at a later date.

DANIEL KALEIWOHI BUSH JR., 76, of Honolulu, died Aug. 25, 2003. Born in Hawai'i. No known survivors. Service 2 p.m. today at Williams Crypt at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Arrangements by Williams Funeral Services.

CHARLES "CHARLIE" D. CARVALHO SR., 85, of Kailua, died Sept. 20, 2003. Born in Honolulu. A retired Honolulu Fire Department captain. Survived by sons, Charles "Chuck" Jr. and Bryant; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Priscilla Simpson and Dorothy Lincoln. DR. JAMES FORRESTER CRAINE, known during his boxing days as "IRISH JIMMY CRAINE," 83, of Lanikai, died Sept. 16, 2003. Born in California. Clinical neuropsychologist of The Craine Institute of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Inc., Honolulu; head of psychological and neuropsychological services retired from Hawai'i State Hospital. Survived by daughter, Catherine Unabia; grandchildren, Thomas, Noah, Claire and James Unabia; son, James; daughter, Sharon Streling, from a previous marriage; sister, Roberta Steward. SABURO "EDWARD" HIGA, 82, of Honoka'a, Hawai'i, died Sept. 23, 2003. Born in Honoka'a. A tractor operator retired from Hamakua Sugar Co., and member of Honoka'a Hongwanji Mission. PATRICK "MAC" ALLEN MCNULTY, 60, of Honolulu, died Sept. 20, 2003. Born in Honolulu. A reinforcing iron worker, retiring as a foreman, who worked with Associated Steel, Hawaii State Steel, Pacific Erectors and RPM Steel.
