'Aiea takes to air in 49-13 win

'Aiea quarterback Kali Kuia passed for 436 yards, threw four touchdown passes and ran for a another score as 'Aiea beat Waialua, 49-13, at Waialua last night to remain undefeated in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association's White Division.

Kuia completed 22 of 31 passes for 436 yards, including a 79-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Burgos.

Na Ali'i's Raymond Tauala compiled 293 total yards, with 12 carries for 162 yards and three catches for 131 yards.

He scored on a 9-yard run in the second quarter.

The Bulldogs' Glenn Rubio caught two touchdown passes from Jerrold McNulty.

• McKinley 41, Kaimuki 6: Iakopo Taumua caught touchdown passes of 85 and nine yards from Abel Werner as the Tigers routed the Bulldogs at Kaiser High School.

Taumua had six catches for 146 yards.

Quinton Sayers, who had a 66-yard touchdown run, had 11 carries for 167 yards to lead McKinley.
