HOLES IN ONE
It will be an everlasting dream

Hole No. 5, 77 yards, 8-iron
Never in my wildest dreams did I believe that I would have a hole in one under my belt.
Saturday afternoons were always the girls' golf outings. We came to the fifth hole and I was the last to hit.
I grabbed my 8-iron and hit it high. The ball went straight for the pin, hit the green to the left of the pin and began to roll.
After what seemed an eternity, the ball dropped into the cup and I was stunned.
I froze for a second, but was brought back to reality after hearing the cheers of my companions. I must have screamed loudly myself, because the group on the next hole turned around to see the commotion.
I will never forget that day. I framed the scorecard and put the ball in a collector's case.
