How Hawai'i hotels are faring
Advertiser Staff
Statewide hotel occupancy rose by 15.4 percent to 81.8 percent, attributed in part to a large corporate meeting on O'ahu coinciding with the week of spring break for the week ended March 27, according to Hospitality Advisors LLC. The strong occupancy is consistent with the 15.2 percent arrivals increase during the same week as reported by the state. The increase reflects in part the recovery from the SARS epidemic last year.
