Ten UH student-athletes earn All-WAC honors

Ten University of Hawai'i student-athletes have earned Western Athletic Conference All-Academic honors for the 2003-04 winter season.
UH basketball player Michael Kuebler was selected for the second consecutive season. He is a business major with a 3.67 grade point average, and was also named a first-team Academic All-American last month.
Five members of the swimming team were selected, along with three from women's basketball and two from men's basketball.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
The Hawai'i honorees:

Jessica Affleck (swimming), So., 3.28, pre-medicine
Katie Clewett (swimming), So., 3.71, general arts and science
Paul Jesinskis (men's basketball), Sr., 3.22, economics
Michael Kuebler (men's basketball), Sr., 3.67, general business
Milia Macfarlane (women's basketball), Jr., 3.50, elementary education
Trisha Nishimoto (women's basketball), So., 3.62, pre-education
Stephanie Regucera (swimming), Jr., 3.39, psychology
Jillian Saldana (swimming), Sr., 3.48, biology
YingJuan Zen (swimming), Sr., 3.75, communications
