Weddings

Desarae Atnip, formerly of Casper, Wyo., daughter of Douglas and Ruth Anne Atnip of Casper, Wyo., and Judi and Tom Anderson of Casper, Wyo., and Jeff Janszen, formerly of Winter Park, Fla., son of Mitzie Janszen of Winter Park, Fla., were married Feb. 15 at the Hale Koa Hotel, where the reception followed. The bride (U.S. Coast Guard Academy bachelor's/Hawai'i Pacific University master's/Keller Graduate School of Management master's), now DesaRae Atnip Janszen, is a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard. The groom (Oxford College bachelor's) is a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Coast Guard. The couple lives in Honolulu with the groom's children, Christy Jans-zen, 13, and Jimmy Janszen, 10.

Yeoun-Soo Jung, daughter of James and Jenny Baumann of 'Aina Haina, and Michael Marion Varley, son of Ron and Diane Varley of Pearl City, were married Dec. 20 at Kaimuki Christian Church. The reception followed at The Royal Hawaiian hotel. The bride (UH-Manoa master's), now Yeoun-soo Jung Varley, is a doctoral student. The groom (Art Institute of Dallas) is a computer artist. The couple lives in Honolulu.
