National cheerleading champs come home

Hawai'i Pacific University cheerleaders Dedre Fukumoto and Thomas Locklayer arrived yesterday at Honolulu International Airport with national trophies.

Their teams won first place in dance and co-ed cheerleading in the Division II competition at the national cheerleading championships in Daytona, Fla. About 65 students from HPU attended.
