Augie T featured on Brady show

Augie T, co-host of the Island Rhythms 98.5 FM radio show, merely was supposed to be the off-camera announcer for "The Wayne Brady Show" in a segment taped yesterday in Los Angeles and airing at 9 a.m. tomorrow on KGMB-9. But Brady, unofficially celebrating "Hawai'i Day," allowed screen time for the stand-up comic, who brought along island omiyage.
Augie T. (the T stands for Tulba) wound up doing his shtick on "The Filipino Survivor Show," in which "a Filipino would win because Filipinos eat everything," he said.

The key guest on tomorrow's show is The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), who talks about his "Walking Tall" movie. Brady, who has island ties (he is married to the former Mandie Taketa), also welcomes Laura Harring, Cary Elwes and Robert Klein.
Augie will be home for his Brew Moon gig tonight with partner in laughter, Lanai.
