• Industrialist and art collector Matsukata Kojiro studied briefly at the Sorbonne in 1889-90. An incorrect date was given in an Island Life story posted yesterday.

• Deputy City Managing Director Malcolm Tom said that an allegation in a draft city audit that a beach concessionaire has accrued arrears in excess of $202,000 and continues to stymie efforts to enforce contract compliance is true. Tom's comment was mischaracterized in a Local News story posted yesterday.
