ALAN MUN has joined the residential loan officer team of American Savings Bank. He has also worked for Irwin Mortgage Corp., Bank of Hawaii and Weyerhaeuser Mortgage.

LINDA DENAULT has been named manager of reservations and channel distribution for Castle Resorts & Hotels. Among her duties will be overseeing the Hawai'i-based reservations call center, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She previously has been with Hilton Grand Vacations and Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa.

KAREN YOKOMIZO-SIM has been named assistant vice president and special projects manager at Finance Factors. The 10-year bank veteran has also worked as project analyst and project manager. Also, Benson Choo has been promoted to assistant vice president and information protection manager. He will continue to oversee security risks, and will develop strategies to keep the company's information-security system current.

• The firm of Bowen Hunsaker & Co. has added CRAIG K. HIRAI as a shareholder, director and officer, and is changing the full name of the firm to Bowen Hunsaker Hirai, Certified Public Accountants, A Professional Corp. Hirai is a former shareholder, director and officer with Torkildson Katz Fonseca Moore & Hetherington law firm, and has more than 25 years' experience as a tax lawyer and certified public accountant. In his new position he will practice as a certified public accountant working primarily in the areas of federal and state taxation, mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, tax-exempt organizations, litigation services, forensic accounting and business valuation.

LAURA McINTYRE has joined Helber Hastert & Fee, Planners Inc. as a land use and environmental planner. McIntyre has an extensive background in state, regional, local and resort tourism planning, land reuse planning, environmental impact assessment and ecotourism.
