Fire, stabbing suspect appears in court

A Kailua man accused of stabbing his mother and aunt and setting his family's Kainui Drive home on fire last week made his initial appearance in District Court yesterday.
Circuit Judge Faye Koyanagi confirmed bail of $300,000 for Micah White and scheduled a preliminary hearing in his case for tomorrow. White, 20, has been charged with attempted murder and criminal property damage in connection with the fire and stabbings at his Kailua home on April 5. The two women were severely burned. |
