Fund set up for missing surfer

Friends of Courtney Marcher, the 22-year-old surfer who disappeared at the Velzyland surf spot April 4, have set up a fund at American Savings Bank in La'ie to help bring Marcher's family members to the islands. Checks should be made out to Find Courtney Marcher and can be deposited at any American Savings Bank.

Police this week suspended the search for Marcher and have said they believe she ran into trouble in the water and was not a victim of foul play.
