Bradley Shigezawa, left, and fishing buddy Nathan Choy combined to haul in a 14-pound channel catfish at Nu'uanu Reservoir. Shigezawa, 11, and Choy, 12, were using their "secret bait" and 6-pound test line. "It doesn't really fight that well (not) until it gets close to shore," said Glenn Shigezawa, Bradley's father, who took the two fishing. "We were kind of surprised when the big ugly thing popped up." Bradley and Choy often go fishing together, Glenn said. "I think this is probably the biggest that they have ever caught from the shore," Glenn said.
