ISLE FILE
Enson Inoue, Sauer will rumble tonight

Advertiser Staff

Enson Inoue and Tom Sauer both made weight yesterday for their main event tonight in the Super Brawl 35 mixed martial arts card at the Blaisdell Center Arena.

Inoue, who was raised in Manoa but now fights out of Japan, weighed 202.9 pounds. Sauer, who is from Florida, initially was a half-pound over the 210 limit, but eventually got down to 210.

"I don't think the weight makes that much of a difference on this level," Sauer said. "It's what's in your heart, and we're both ready."

Inoue (11-7) will be fighting in Hawai'i for the first time tonight.

Sauer (14-6) said he is used to fighting as the underdog.

"I was born with Tourette's syndrome, so I've always been looked at as different, and people don't take me seriously," he said. "But that's what I thrive on."

Preliminary bouts will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, ranging from $39 to $100, are available at the Blaisdell Center box office.
