PEDRO AUGUSTO GARCIA, 72, of Honolulu, died April 14, 2004. Born in Lima, Peru. A retired carpenter. JAMES "JIM" D. HAPENNEY, 83, of Honolulu, died April 13, 2004. Born in Delevan, Ill. A retired newspaper executive. Survived by son, Dan; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. BENEDICT JOSEPH IIDA, 89, of Lihu'e, Kaua'i, died April 8, 2004. Born on Kaua'i. DR. NELSON LANE KELLEY, 66, of Kane'ohe, died April 12, 2004. Born in Bryan, Texas. Teacher in the College of Business Administration at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa; served as director of the Pacific Asian Management Institute and chairman of the Department of Management and Industrial Relations. Survived by wife, Choong So Young Kelley; children, Cyrelle Mello, Rachael, Lee, Alicia and Rebecca; three grandchildren; sisters, Alice Kimbrough and Cecil McCullough; brother, Larry. Service held. Burial 9 a.m. today at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire.

TADAO NAITO, 81, of Honolulu, died April 1, 2004. Born in Pearl City. Retired carpenter for JM Tanaka Construction Co.; member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team; Korean War prisoner of war. Survived by wife, Eleanor; grandson, Chad; mother, Tsugi; brother, Setsuo; sisters, Hanako Okazaki, Dorothy Tsutsumi and Helen Gaither. LILLIAN E. MARCHETTO PATACCHI, 93, of Hawai'i Kai, died April 12, 2004. Born in Allentown, Pa. A mezzo-soprano who toured with various opera companies in the United States and abroad; She and her husband, Valfrido, performed in several musical productions. Survived by son, Vallian; granddaughter, Lia; grandson, Cory; sister, Viola Marck. Service 6 p.m. April 26 at Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church; refreshments and food will be served. D. RICHARD SCIBELLA, 86, of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Honolulu, died April 13, 2004. Retired vice president of the Georgia Boot Company. Survived by wife, Nona; daughter, Marsha Bohnett; granddaughter, Paula Fried. Service 11 a.m. today at Carr-Tenny Mortuary, Tempe, Ariz.
