Name: Heather Lee

Age: 39

Profession: Agent with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties

Height: 5 feet 8

Weight: 134 pounds

Workout habits: My workout habits are simple: Just do it. I know personally that mornings work best for me. I find that if I just take the body, the mind will follow. I vary the routine to avoid boredom and always have goals set. The goals are not so specific to set myself up for failure, but more to force myself to show up to an event and participate. I try not to put too much emphasis on my time — just the destination. (Lee has completed the Honolulu Marathon, Straub Hawai'i Women's 10K and Swamp Romp.)

When and why I started working out: I began exercising when I was 21. I had just turned a corner in my life and needed to have something that would make me feel good about myself and help absorb excess energy. As I kept going, I noticed how good I felt at the end of a workout. Then I saw the great changes in my body and that was all it took. I couldn't stop.

What saves my sanity: A good run and a supportive husband.

My next challenge: The Windward Half-Marathon

Advice for those in the same boat: Do it if you want to and if you do not. The rewards far outweigh the temporary agony of energy output!
