Gasoline prices hit new highs

Gasoline prices in Honolulu and Wailuku, Maui, hit new highs today, pushing the statewide average to a record $2.169 a gallon for regular unleaded, according to the American Automobile Association.On O'ahu, the average price for regular unleaded reached $2.080 for the first time, while in Wailuku the average hit $2.429 a gallon.
