James E. Lukasweski known as the "consultant's consultant" for his expertise in managing legal challenges while preserving an organization's reputation will be the featured speaker May 6 at a luncheon sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America, Hawai'i chapter. Lukasweski, a fellow of the organization, will speak on "EFFECTIVELY MANAGING REPUTATIONAL RISKS IN HIGH-PROFILE LITIGATION" at the meeting, which starts with 11:30 a.m. registration at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa, South Pacific Ballroom. The event is focused on professionals in communications, law and human resources. A major focus of Lukasweski's practice involves counsel to executives and corporate attorneys of U.S. and international organizations involved in serious legal entanglements, such as civil, criminal, class action, anti-trust and compliance cases. The MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF HONOLULU offers free, weekly orientation sessions to minority business-owners and prospective entrepreneurs. This year's Building Industry Association of Hawaii RENAISSANCE BUILDING AND REMODELING AWARDS program is adding a new division, "BuiltGreen," to its award categories. The annual awards program recognizes skill and craftsmanship of the industry's contractors, developers, architects and designers. Other categories include details, residential and commercial remodeling, new residential and commercial construction, kitchen and bath, historical, and landscaping.
