Police arrested a 49-year-old woman last night in connection with the investigation into the murder of Robyn Mae Nakaji, 46, whose body was found Friday on a dirt road leading to a farm at 91-2161 Old Fort Weaver Road in 'Ewa.

Police also said they seized evidence at the suspect’s apartment in Kapahulu.

Repairs to water main slow traffic

Repair work on a broken 12-inch water main slowed traffic today on Dillingham Boulevard between Colburn and Waiakamilo Road in Kalihi.

The break was reported at 12:34 a.m. today and affected service to customers on Colburn Street and some businesses on Dillingham.

Two kokohead-bound lanes were open at 6:15 a.m. to accommodate rush-hour traffic but ewa-bound traffic was being detoured onto Koho Street.

Repair work was expected to last all day, Board of Water Supply spokeswoman Wanda Yamane said

Convicted felon held in burglary

A 34-year-old man was arrested yesterday by Pearl City police, who said he was carrying a loaded .38-caliber pistol that was one of five guns stolen in a burglary on Tuesday.

The arrested man is a convicted felon, police said.

His arrest stems from an investigation into community reports of recent suspicious activity of a maroon-colored sports utility vehicle that has been seen in the Pacific Palisades area, where burglaries and auto break-ins have been occurring.

The man also was arrested on suspicion of possessing crystal methamphetamine.
