Kaiser tops Roosevelt; tied for second in OIA East

The Kaiser Cougars held off a fourth-quarter rally by the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders for a 46-41 O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division basketball victory last night.
The Cougars (9-2) remained tied with Kalaheo (9-2), one game behind division-leading Kahuku (10-1). Roosevelt is 7-4.
Kilioe Aliifua scored 11 points and Sharde Pratt 10 as the Cougars took a 30-22 lead into the fourth quarter.
Nicole Yoshimoto scored 13 and Shannon Miyashiro 11 for Roosevelt.
