Weddings

Arminia Ann Carlos, daughter of Armando and Antonia Carlos of Honolulu, and Patrick Todd Kamanukulaokalani Ayat, son of John and Lynnette Ayat of Waipahu, were married April 10 at the Kamehameha Schools Chapel. The reception followed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village's Coral Ballrooms. The bride (Moanalua High/University of Hawai'i bachelor's), now Arminia Ann Carlos Ayat, is an educational assistant. The groom (Kamehameha Schools/Oregon State University bachelor's/Chaminade University master's), is a teacher. The couple live in Honolulu.

Chelsey Ingano, daughter of Socimo Stanley Ingano Jr. and Pauline Ingano, and Shawn Tachera, son of Alfred Tachera Jr. and Marika Tachera, were married June 5 at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park. The reception followed at Buca di Beppo restaurant. The bride (Pearl City High), now Chelsey Tachera, is a nursing assistant student. The groom (Pearl City High) is a FedEx driver. The couple live in 'Ewa Beach.

ENGAGEMENTS

Gordon and Mary Cho of 'Aiea announce the engagement of their son, Capt. Matthew Gordon Cho, formerly of 'Aiea, to Melissa Kate Andersen, daughter of David and Sarah Andersen of Kenosha, Wis. The wedding is planned for Aug. 28 in Kenosha. The couple lives in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Brooke Dawson, formerly of Mililani and originally from Chico, Calif., and Mark Secosh, formerly of Pewaukee, Wis., announce their engagement. The wedding is planned for Aug. 7 at the Presidio Main Post Chapel in San Francisco. The couple lives in Fremont, Calif.

Celeste Nii and Ronald Tran announce their engagement. The wedding is planned for Dec. 4 at the Ko'olau Golf Course. The couple lives in Honolulu.
