Woman reports home intruder

Police were investigating a report by a 21-year-old Pearl City woman that she was awakened about 1:45 a.m. today by a stranger who climbed onto her bed and put his hand over her nose and mouth.

The woman said the intruder held her down for about two minutes before he released her and left the Aumakua Street home. She said she checked her room and found her purse was missing and that a sliding door to her home was open.

Women accused of stealing car

Two women in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of multiple criminal charges yesterday after allegedly being caught driving a stolen car and using a stolen credit card for purchases at the Mililani Wal-Mart.

A 41-year-old woman told police her vacation unit was burglarized and keys to her rental car were taken during the burglary. The woman's purse and other personal property were in the car when it was taken.

While the woman was reporting the stolen credit card, the company that issued it told her it was being used at the Mililani store.

The woman called police, who found the car in the parking lot. The two women, ages 29 and 23, were arrested when they approached the car.

Police said they found a packet of drugs and an "ice" pipe in the center console.

The two women face charges of detaining stolen property, fraudulent use of a credit card, third-degree promotion of detrimental drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
