Advertiser Staff and News Services

Remember the good old days of flying to Hawai'i by propeller? When lovely hula hands greeted visitors as they stepped off planes?

Here's a chance to relive the era through prints of 1940s Pan American and American Airline ads available at Swann Galleries in New York. Three Hawai'i-themed posters will be auctioned tomorrow, but Hawai'i bidders can place advance offers by calling (212) 254-4710 ext. 53, or e-mailing ethompson@swanngalleries.com.

The posters, by artists John Atherton, John Fehmil and Al Moore, can be seen at www.swanngalleries.com.

Spokesman for Little People of America, on Charla Faddoul (pictured), the 4-foot adult competing in the "The Amazing Race" at 9 tonight on KGMB-9

"What Charla is doing on the show is great, introducing little people to the mainstream world, doing an activity average-sized people are doing. ... Sometimes you've got to use what you have to get what you need."
