QUICK BITES
Another Roy's opens at Ko Olina

Advertiser Staff

Roy Yamaguchi

Roy's all but has O'ahu surrounded now, with the original out east in Hawai'i Kai and a new outlet out west at Ko Olina Golf Club. The new restaurant, under the guidance of executive chef Michael Leslie, opened quietly in the space formerly occupied by Niblick Restaurant.

An avid golfer who enjoys the Ko Olina course, Roy Yamaguchi says he believes in the potential of the area, where housing construction has heated up after a long, moribund period. Reservations: 676-7697.

Low-carb Cooking also lists carb counts of various foods and offers ideas for helpful cook's tools and cookbooks.
