DOUGLAS GERALD BRANDT, 70, of 'Ewa Beach, died July 28, 2004. Born in Ortonville, Mich. Retired from the Air Force as a senior master sergeant; also retired from International Logistics Civil Service. A lieutenant commander retired from the Navy; founder of Reed-Murdoch Ltd., an insurance agency; former owner and general manager of Rosie's Cantina. Survived by son, Michael; daughters, Petie and Kelly Reed and Molly Hagmann; former wife, Marnie Murdoch; sister, Mary Hamilton; five grandchildren. LARRY AKIRA SAWAMOTO, 85, of 'Ewa Beach, died July 16, 2004. An Army veteran who served in the Korean War; also a retired ironworker.
