Companies from Hawai'i and four other western states are being invited to participate in a joint Korea-U.S. business conference scheduled for Oct. 7-8 in Seoul.
Korea is Hawaii's fourth-largest export market, and Korean visitors represent a potentially lucrative market for Hawai'i's tourism industry, according to Ted Liu, director of the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. The Korea-Pacific U.S. States Joint Conference is sponsored by the Korea-U.S. Economic Council. For more information call 587-2753.
