Politician's court date postponed

Blundell, R-10th (W. Maui), was arrested at 11:15 p.m. July 15 on 3908 Paki Ave., at or near a Kapi'olani Park restroom. He was booked on one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.
He was scheduled to enter a plea yesterday, but his lawyer is out of town and the hearing was postponed.
Driver arrested after 4 collisions
A 20-year-old man is facing car theft and criminal property damage charges after being involved in four collisions between Kane'ohe and Kalihi Thursday afternoon.
Police attempted to pull the man over for various traffic offenses in Kane'ohe at about 2:30 p.m., but he took off instead. A check of the car's license plates showed that it had been reported stolen earlier.
Police lost sight of the car for a short while before it was spotted again by other police officers headed toward Kalihi on Likelike Highway.
The driver got into three collisions while driving on Likelike and then a fourth collision in Kalihi.
After the fourth collision, the man jumped out of the car and tried to run away but was caught by police and arrested.
Man caught in Internet sting
A Mililani man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree electronic enticement of a child Thursday morning after he showed up at a fast food restaurant in Makiki allegedly intending to meet an under-age girl with whom he had arranged to have sex with via the Internet.
The man, 42, was met instead at about 8:10 a.m. by an agent from the Hawai'i Department of the Attorney General who was working in conjunction with the Hawai'i Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
Death may be from overdose
A man whose body was found at a Nimitz Highway overpass near Kakoi Street in Mapunapuna yesterday is believed to have died of a drug overdose the day after being released from a drug treatment program.
According to information gathered by police, the man, 43, had a long history of drug abuse. The man completed and was released from a drug treatment program on Wednesday and then went directly to Chinatown to buy heroin.
The man was last seen alive by a friend under the overpass where the two men had gone to sleep. The man was found lifeless yesterday morning and a hypodermic needle was found under his body.
Police said there were no signs of foul play.
