Tonight's Must-See

"Miracle Run," 6 p.m., Lifetime. TV movies thrive in this narrow niche: True stories of young people who faced immense handicaps, then became champion runners. That worked wonderfully in the 1989 "Unconquered" and the 2000 "The Loretta Claiborne Story." It works again here. At the core is the gifted Mary-Louise Parker in a rich and subtle performance. She plays a single mom whose twin sons, in a medical rarity, are both autistic. Overwhelmed at first, she fights back. A loose-spirited workman (Aidan Quinn) balances her pensive personality.

"On the Cover" debut, 7 p.m., Pax TV. Quick and slick, this is the kind of game show that's easy to watch. Contestants are shown magazine covers, then asked pop culture questions. With Mark L. Walberg hosting, it all flashes by smoothly. There is one flaw: Some questions are terribly easy, but can't be answered until Walberg is done.

Of Note

"The Grid" finale, 6 p.m., TNT. Here is another finale with much at stake. The four-week, six-hour series has had Julianna Marguiles' team leading an effort to stop terrorists. So far, it's been a richly intelligent series.

Football, 6:30 p.m., ABC. The pros are back with the annual Hall of Fame Game, an exhibition bout from Canton, Ohio. This year, it has the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos; Al Michaels and John Madden return in the "Monday Night Football" booth with Michele Tafoya on the sidelines.

"North Shore," 7 p.m., Fox. Nicole (Brooke Bundy) is bummed enough that her wedding fell apart. Now she learns that her alternate love Jason (Kristoffer Polaha) was dallying with someone else that day.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. Here is a rerun of a darkly witty episode. Celebrating their three-month anniversary, Robert and Amy invite his parents, brother and sister-in-law for dinner. He soon lectures on the secrets of a good marriage, bringing bitterness and revelations.

"For Love or Money" finale, 8 p.m., NBC. This show is down to three men dating Rachel Veltri, a flight attendant. She'll trim the field to two and then to one; then she learns if he'll take the money instead of her.

"CSI: Miami," 9 p.m., CBS. A crew worker dies, leaving suspicions.
