Hawaiian Air is on-time leader

Hawaiian Airlines in June once again had the nation's best on-time service, continuing a string of eight consecutive months of leading U.s. airlines that report their statistics to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Hawaiian Airlines, which hopes to emerge from federal bankruptcy protection in November, reported that it has steadily improved its on-time performance each month from 87.3 percent of its flights arriving on time in January to 95.3 percent in June.
A&B to develop California site
Honolulu firm Alexander & Baldwin Inc. yesterday said it plans to develop an $11 million retail/office complex in Valencia, Calif., with a Mainland partner.
Land for the 62,000-square-foot complex was purchased last week by subsidiary A&B Properties Inc. and Valencia-based Intertex General Contractors Inc. for an undisclosed price. Construction is expected to be complete in 2006 .
