Advertiser Staff and News Services

If you aren't one of the lucky souls heading to the sold-out Jack Johnson concert tonight at the Hawai'i Theatre, you may as well cozy up to the TV and check out the 2004 Teen Choice Awards from 7 to 9 p.m. on KHON. Paris Hilton, right, and Nicole Richie, fresh off their "Simple Life" road trip, host the show, which celebrates teen favorites in movies, television, fashion, sports and music. Lenny Kravitz, JoJo and blink-182, among others, are scheduled to perform.

Hawai'i best spot to honeymoon

Sunshine and beaches are hallmarks of the top destinations in Modern Bride's 2005 survey of the World's 50 Best Honeymoons. Hawai'i hulas in at No. 1, followed by Mexico, Jamaica, Tahiti, Bermuda, St. Lucia, Italy, Las Vegas, Aruba and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

All 50 are listed in the magazine's August-September issue and at www.modernbride.com/travel/top50.

Turn each other on

If the thrill is gone in the bedroom, the September issue of Prevention magazine shares 20 just-for-women tips to cure your lagging sex life.

Among the bits of advice: Instead of using the "too tired" excuse, turn off "Law & Order" and turn each other on.

The magazine finds remedies can be as simple as changing your birth control to a dosage that doesn't dampen your libido.
