Weekly Thoughts

The old advice is "when you get a lemon, make lemonade." When a foolish man finds life has handed him a lemon, he gives up and says, "I am beaten. I haven't got a chance." He indulges in self-pity. But when a wise man finds life has given him a lemon he says, "What lesson can I learn from this misfortune? How can I turn this lemon into lemonade?" He turns his misfortune into a fortune.

Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
