Charges filed in rock attack

A 38-year-old man was charged yesterday with criminal property damage in connection with a rock-throwing incident Thursday that damaged cars on Kapi'olani Boulevard.

Lopaka Cordeiro, who has no local address, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal property damage. His bail was set at $20,000.

Cordeiro is accused of throwing rocks at vehicles on Kapi'olani and slightly injuring one person.
